The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has put further restrictions on in person services at DMV service centers. The action furthers the limitation of fact to face services that began on March 23 and until further notice the service centers will be closed to all in person transactions except Commercial Driver licenses, Voters needing identification who need to use the identification card petition process and new wisconsin residents who need a drivers license or id for voting. These services are available by appointment only with other services like obtaining a duplicate driver license, changing address, renewing registration, titling a vehicle can all be taken care of on their website. Services can also be completed by mail or through third party providers. The changes go into effect today and you can get more information at wisconsindmv.gov.
