Yesterday, the Walworth County Committee of the Whole heard the 2023 budget presentation. Items on the 2023 budget adhere to the phrase “a path forward”, and take into account the future of the county. The primary components of the budget include the County Trunk Highway funding dilemma, needs for Lakeland Healthcare Center, park planning and system enhancement, the Opioid Settlement Expenditure Plan, employee retention and recruitment, strategic planning, and continued development of the ARPA plan.
