Schools in Milton Recognized as Grief Sensitive Schools

According to a post from the School District of Milton, Consolidated Elementary, Harmony Elementary, West Elementary, East Elementary, Northside Intermediate and Milton Middle School they have been designated as a “Grief-Sensitive School” by the New York Life Foundation, and have received a $500 grant to help create a bereavement support plan, and also encouraging ongoing staff development as part of the National Grief-Sensitive Schools Initiative.
