Rock County Prosecutors Charge Woman in Janesville Stabbing

Prosecutors in Rock County have charged a woman for a stabbing incident that happened last Monday on janesvilles West side. Myla Braxton is charged with second degree recklessly endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon. Police were called around midnight to the 300 block of park ave for a reported stabbing, they arrived and found a man with a stab wound in his chest. The man told police he was arguing and fighting with a woman when Braxton pulled up in a car and stabbed him. The man was taken to Mercy Hospital with non life threatening injuries and Braxton later admitted to the stabbing and that she had the small pocket knife with her. A Signature bond was set in the initial appearance in court and Braxton is next to appear in court on April 29th.
