Number of Positive COVID 19 Cases in Wisconsin

The number of positive cases of COVID 19 jumped by more than 500 over then weekend going from around 1800 to 2322 positive tests, 634 of those positive tests required hospitalization, with over 25 thousand tests coming back negative. The death toll has risen significantly as well as the number of reported deaths from COVID 19 went up to 75 over the weekend. Milwaukee county has 1,190 positive cases with 29 deaths, Dane county reported 280 cases plus one additional death, Waukesha county has 154 cases, Jefferson has 14, Walworth county has 20 and Rock county has 28 and the second reported death in Rock county happened over the weekend, it was the second death reported in rock county. Assembly republicans sent Gov Evers a list of priorities for the nearly 2 trillion in federal assistance coming to Wisconsin in the CARES Act. the letter asks Gov Evers to make hospitals and healthcare facilities a priority, safeguards for business owners and workers as well as assistance for local governments. Assembly Republicans are also asking the governor to allow Easter or Passover services at local places of worship which would go against the Safer at Home order.
