JPD Asking For Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

Janesville Police are asking for the public's help with identifying a robbery suspect. Officers were dispatched to the Walgreens on Center Ave for a robbery incident according to a Janesville police news release. The suspect entered the store and displayed a screwdriver in a jabbing motion towards the store employee demanding money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running in a southwest direction. The K-9 unit was able to track the suspect from the business west on Conde Street where they were picked up by an unknown vehicle parked in the area. The suspect is a white male, medium build, wearing a baseball hat, black shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
