Janesville police and fire departments conduct welfare check

According to a City of Janesville press release, on September 7 at 5:30 a.m., police conducted a welfare check for a 51 year old man who was stranded on railroad trestle crossing the Rock River at Center Avenue Bridge, as he was experiencing a medical event. The Janesville Police and Fire departments were able to bring the man to safety, and he was brought to a local medical facility.
