Janesville Man Arrested on 5th Offense OWI in Beloit

A Janesville man was arrested in the town of Beloit and charged with his fifth offense OWI. Jacob Purnell will face felony charges, he was also charged with driving while revoked. The Arrest came last Friday morning and Purnell had two other people in the car with him. When police searched the car they found materials used to cook and inject heroin according to the criminal complaint. Purnell has previous OWI convictions in 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016, he’s being held on a $750 cash bond after his court appearance and was ordered not to drink or drive or have contact with the other who were in the car while his case is pending.
