An Illinois man is facing weapons and drug charges after he was stopped for speeding by a Rock County sheriff's deputy according to a criminal complaint. Eyan Lenz was pulled over after sheriff’s deputies allegedly observed him driving more than 100 mph on Highway 81. After he was pulled over Deputies searched the car and found a half pound of marijuana in his backpack and a firearm that Lenz appeared to throw out his window was found by a witness in their driveway. He is charged with possession with intent to deliver THC and carrying a concealed weapon, charges were filed in late March in Rock county court and future court date has been set.
