According to a post from the Janesville Police Department, an elderly man was walking the bike trail between Sandhill and Huntington on the morning of September 5 at about 9 a.m., when he was attacked by a short, light colored pit bull. The dog owner asked if the man was okay, but did not give the man her name or any other information. She is described as a shorter, heavier set white female in her early 20’s. Anyone with information on the incident or about the dog owner is encouraged to call the Janesville Police Department at (608) 757-2244.
