Beloit Police Seek the Public's Help Identifying Armed Robbers

Beloit police are seeking the public’s help regarding an armed robbery that happened Saturday. An employee of a business in the 1600 block of park ave was walking to her car after locking the business when four unidentified black males attempted to enter the business. The men were armed and when they were unable to enter the business they stole the woman’s purse. The victim was not injured and no shots were fired according to police. The suspects are described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts and face masks, they left the scene in a baby blue four door sedan. The victim's purse was found by an off duty cop from another jurisdiction with some contents missing at Shopiere road and interstate 39-90.
