A 19 year old Delavan woman died in a two car crash Friday night with a Beloit man facing possible charges. Jose Zuniga was driving in South Beloit when police attempted to stop his vehicle but he fled police into Wisconsin, he was traveling at a high rate of speed and turned from Park Ave onto Keeler. Beloit police were not pursuing the vehicle and the crash occurred shortly after the vehicle turned onto Keeler. Zuniga was taken into custody following the crash and faces charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. There were five people in Zuniga’s car, three were cited for underage drinking and three people were in the second car including the Delavan woman who died, the other two occupants were taken to the hospital. Beloit Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
