Beloit Cemetery Advises Public on Spring Clean-up

City of Beloit cemetery staff advises that 2023 spring clean-up will take place at both Eastlawn and Oakwood Cemeteries.

Decorations on gravesites should be removed by Saturday, April 15; new decorations may be placed on or after Monday, May 1. Broken vases and vases not planted for two years will be removed. Artificial and cut flower arrangements must be placed in durable containers; glass, china and fragile vases are not permitted.

Cemetery staff will dispose of excessive or inappropriate decorations, and any decorations not removed by the deadline of April 15. American flags that are not serviceable are removed; ground wreaths and grave blankets are not permitted.
