According to a press release from the City of Janesville, an armed robbery occurred on Tuesday, September 8 at approximately 2:30 a.m. at Lion's Quick Mart on Milton Avenue. The suspect fled before police officers arrived, and has not yet been found. The suspect stole money and cigarettes. The suspect was described as a 30-40 year old thin black man, who is about 5 foot 5 inches. He was wearing dark pants, a black mask, a white head wrap, dark shows, and a blue jacket with a white logo on the left side of the chest with white stripes down the arms.
