An alleged stabbing at a residence near Delavan Lake led to one man in the hospital and one man under arrest. Officers were called around 12:40 Tuesday to a residence near Lakeview Drive on a report of a stabbing. Police found the alleged victim bleeding and running from another man who was armed with a knife in each hand. The suspect initially refused to drop his weapon at police order and kept moving toward the victim, the suspect was shocked with a taser and taken into custody. The victim, a 55 year old man, was stabbed in the upper torso and remains in the hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive. The suspect is a 27 year old man from Illinois and police are recommending a charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide, police continue to investigate the circumstances and possible motives surrounding the incident.
